On Dec. 3, Midwest Electric hired Julie Marchal of Coldwater, Ohio, to join the electric cooperative’s member service representative team.
"Being a member of Midwest Electric, I was aware of how innovative and responsive the company is for their members, so I was very excited when they had an opening in my field of experience," Marchal says.
A Fort Recovery High School graduate, Marchal earned an associate degree from Wright State University Lake Campus in financial management. She brings 17 years of experience as Customer Service Manager at Wabash Mutual Telephone, as well as being a licensed realtor with Lakeshore Realtors in Celina. In her new role, she will serve as a primary contact for members and inquiries, process payments and service orders, create new member accounts, handle patronage equity member accounts, coordinate delinquent bill collections, perform meter reading system checks, and help members solve problems.
"I love how friendly and kind everyone is," Marchal says. "I am looking forward to assisting members and learning more about the electric industry."
Marchal and her husband, Dale, reside in Coldwater and have three sons: Ben, Bryce, and Blake. When she isn’t testing out new recipes in the kitchen or getting lost in a good book, Marchal can be found outdoors enjoying Mother Nature.
Her life motto? "Never judge a book by its cover."
