We want to thank the following members for the valuable service they’ve provided to the Midwest Electric Community Connection Fund Board over the past three years: Sharon Solano, Auglaize/Shelby County; Karen Heinrichs, Mercer/Darke County; and Jim Link, Allen/Putnam County.
The other Midwest Electric members currently serving on the Community Connection Fund board are Marilyn Devita, Allen/Putnam County; Nikki Tebbe, Auglaize/Shelby County; Shanelle Sellers, Van Wert County; Beth Miller, Auglaize/Shelby County; Tracy Klosterman, Mercer/Darke County; Brian Siefring, Mercer/Darke County.
The Community Connection Fund Board of Trustees reviews grant applications quarterly and awards funds to charitable groups and worthy individuals throughout west central Ohio.
The Midwest Electric Community Connection Fund is a voluntary charitable program. Participating members monthly electric bills are rounded up to the next dollar, with the additional pennies deposited in the Fund. A Board of Trustees, composed of nine cooperative members and separate from the Midwest Electric Board of Trustees, oversee the application and allocation process.
